AmericasDoctor.com Web Project
A Web-Based Content Management Application
AmericasDoctor.com (www.americasdoctor.com) is a two-million-hit-a-week medical web site, which
provides the general public with thousands of medical articles, online-chat with real doctors,
information from medical communities, hospital searches, online medical shopping
and other useful home care tips and advice.
The entire Web site is built on a dynamic content design, which provides real-time,
database-driven, pre-scheduled capability for all dynamic contents throughout the
site. In order to maintain this constantly changing site, a Web-based Site
Content Management System is mandatory.
CC&C designed and developed this web GUI Site Admin system using CC&C's NetConsoleTM
technology as the foundation for access control and navigation, which provides a group
collaborate environment where different groups of people can maintain the site in their respective areas
without interfering with others, and -- without touching a single line of code.
This Site Admin system provides not only Site Content Management capability, but it also gives
the users power to pre-schedule the date and time for content display on the web site.
We've also developed a preview capability for users to preview the site in advance, so users can
approve the contents before they are published.
