      Lockheed Martin VPV Project
A Web-Enabled Supply Chain Application

    Lockheed's VPV(Virtual Prime Vendor) Web-based Supply Chain System is a multi-million Web project using NT/IIS Servers, Cold Fusion Application Servers, and SQL Servers.

    With Object-Oriented and Dynamic Web Module design, this Web-based Logistic Decision Support System seeks to provide Lockheed, DLA and vendors a secured, Web front-end system based on a centralized database.

    With the implementation of SAS solution, this VPV system has received on-line Analytical Processing (OLAP) capability, which includes dynamic ad-hoc reporting, statistical analysis, and on-line exploratory data analysis.

    CC&C provides Web Consultations and Web Development services to Lockheed Martin through Metaphor, Inc.(ComSys) in support of this projects since March, 1998.
